JOINT DANISH EFFORTS FOR WAR VETERANS. (Brief in English)

We have already experienced several of our employees who are home on leave from the war have developed mentally in a sad direction. We want to help them, because several of them have signs of incipient PTSD.
That is why there is now an initiative on the field in collaboration with Guardian SMR. We will develop a program for returning war veterans, as a kind of "Back 2 Family & Business".
We will seek a commitment from DK for a grant of DKK 20 million. NOK for this project, which can accommodate up to 15,000 war veterans.
Sending soldiers to war has costs to individuals, families and society. Research shows that deployment to war, in addition to physical pain, can lead to serious psychological problems such as PTSD and depression. Many soldiers risk suffering from depression or PTSD after deployment. Early detection of mental disorders is essential to prevent serious consequences for soldiers, families and society as a whole.

PURPOSE OF THE SUPPORT PROGRAM
The program aims to help soldiers, their families and the community through individual, family-oriented and community-oriented support. It must offer easy access to psychological help and early detection.
For the individual, the safety net must ensure:
• • Effective and electronic access to psychological counseling.
• • Receives outreach inquiries
• • Screening with a view to receiving psychological help, if necessary
• • To create communities with other like-minded people For families (partner and children), the safety net must ensure:
• • Easy, efficient and electronic access to psychological counseling and guidance when needed

For Ukrainian society, the safety net is intended to ensure:
• • That as few as possible get chronic or long-lasting psychological disorders due to lack of effort
• • To avoid a large financial backlog of psychiatric treatment for traumatized soldiers
